This restaurant is a saving grace. Amazing menu with all local produce beautifully presented.

Try local dishes that you would not find on other menus and the taste and fusion is truly amazing.

It's not difficult in Niagara to stand out from the crowd with regards to quality restaurants however this place would make the top restaurant in any major international city.

A true experience.

It's on Magdalene Street and not avenue as TripAdvisor suggests. In the Sterling Inn Hotel & Spa off of the main strip.

Hard to find but worth it. So don't give up.

This restaurant is a real treasure located within an otherwise very touristy town...true gourmet fare. The food was excellent; everything we ordered (meat and seafood) was cooked to perfection, the presentation was lovely, and all wines on the list were local ones. Service was top notch...informative and friendly. In response to some questions we had, our waiter also took the extra step of giving us some information on a couple of wineries in the area. We loved the ambience. Prices are very reasonable for such an outstanding dining experience. Go...you won't be sorry!

My husband and I went to Niagara Falls for our anniversary and had dinner here based on excellent online reviews. We were not disappointed! The food was exceptional and we really liked the Farm to Table concept that was featured throughout the menu. Reccomend the venison dish for sure! The local wine selection was so good, we decided to modify our next day itinerary to include winery visits. When we arrived at our reservation time, the place was fairly booked (there are only a handful of tables in the dining are anyhow). We were seated next to a loud table with small children. As we were celebrating , we asked the staff if there was anyway we could move to something more private. They were hesitant, but understanding, and moved us to a nearby private area , and service the entire night was not compromised. Be prepared for a pricey meal, but it was the perfect intimate restaurant for our occasion!

AG is the restaurant located on the lower floor of the Sterling Hotel. We spend two evenings there during our stay in Niagara. Both the food and wines use local products and the chef's imaginative way of preparing and presenting is awesome. The farmed deer and my wife's salmon were both well prepared. This sated our hunger so much we had to return another evening for dessert. Our server looked after us very well, and even helped us find a few wineries to visit while in the area.

AG restaurant concept of farm to table is reflected in its menu. Both appetizer and main dishes had plenty of meat options. If you do not eat meat, like me, the choices are limited but still quite good. We were three in our party and had made a reservation less than a week in advance. All three had salad to start. The other non meat options were candy salmon and oyster but nothing vegeterian. Even the soup had fried beef garnish. We were very happy with our salads. One in our party ordered their signature dish tenderloin of beef. We also ordered surf and turf which was scallops and short ribs and upon request just surf without the short ribs. All dishes were prepared carefully and were delicious. They like to accomodate the guests and would change some dishes upon request. For desert we had poached pears and spiced apple and almond torte. Both were excellent. They only have Ontario wines and the waiteress helped us to choose a nice Shiraz. It was a memorable meal and we loved it.
