Elegant, old hotel. Nice rooms, but small with old bathrooms. Wonderful staff. Part of large entertainment complex, but a long walk to falls. Suggest purchasing people mover tickets. The fallsview in the name refers to the American falls.

We had a spectacular view. The bed was very comfortable. The staff was great. The age of the hotel is showing but is still very clean and neat. I wouldn't stay anywhere else. If you are going to gamble next door, get a players card and you can avoid paying the parking fee. Enjoy!!

Wow! So where do I begin??? Well check out took about a half hour, and we weren't waiting for anyone! Our check-in itself took forever....yes Jeremy was new, I understand, but there was no help, and the frizzy haired 4 eyes (not against people with glasses just don't know her name!) hotel clerk was so rude! she wasn't nice at all......Anyway, we upgraded our room to a 12th floor executive suite (per Jeremy) for 25 extra a night, (4 nights) pretty sweet! IF SOMEONE GOT A BETTER DEAL LET ME KNOW! ha ha !!!
So we thought that executive, 12th floor....meant fridge, microwave...NOPE!
We asked since we upgraded if there was something he could do, and he said he'll make arrangements for us to at least get one free of charge.

This DIDN'T happen! OK whatever, we could deal with no fridge, and we weren't cheap ($25 for your stay to have one). It was just the point! He told us to call down when we reached our room if there wasn't one already in there, and there wasn't obviously, cause they don't come with any!
We called down to the front desk, and the other lady i mentioned earlier, had answered and said he shouldn't have said something like that, and there is nothing she can do and it'll be $25. Executive my a**!!

Location is great if you're 18 or under.....we were near the cheese fest of a strip, bunch of kid things to do.....but the view from the room was great! You can see both falls, the border of US/CANADA and the fireworks from your window! (GO FOR 11TH FLOOR THOUGH THEY HAVE PATIOS!!!)

MOST COMFORTABLE BED EVER!!!!!!!!!! LOVE IT!!!! Climate control room was always on target too! TV wasn't flat screen, but clear channels!

Nothing really bad to say, they just need to work on customer service!

WATER PARK IS DEFINITELY WORTH IT! It's only 30 bux if you're a hotel guest!!! Awesome slides! I'm 24 and my boyfriend, is 27 and it was awesome for both of us!!!!

HOTEL JACUZZI JETS DIDN'T WORK!!!!!!!!! (THE ONLY JACUZZI THAT WORKED WERE THE 2 IN THE WATER PARK, WHICH YOU NEEDED TO PAY TO USE!)

The indoor pool smelled so bad of chlorine, even if you weren't in the pool your eyes were burning!!!!!!!!!!

K That's all for now!!!!

Till my next review

love :)

We stayed at the Crown Plaza over the Memorial Day weekend. Had a great time. Location is perfect. Near all attractions. Service was also adequate. The food at the Sheraton was outstanding. Especially the breakfast buffett. The restaurant at the Crown Plaza had an odor of chlorine and was partially under construction, so we did not eat there during our stay. Lots to do in the hotel. Water park, casino, quite a few restaurants and a game room. Overall a great stay. Highly recommend!!!!! Our room was not that small as other reviews indicate. It was just right for me, my wife and 7 year old son.

I got this place on a great deal from Hotwire. I was generally very happy with this place, though I can kind of understand some of the other reviewers' complaints.

We decided to pay an extra $20/night at check-in to have a king bed and a view of the falls. We got a room on the top floor. The room is a bit small, but I was just traveling with my girlfriend, so we don't really need much space. I suspect that our room used to part of a two-room suite. And on the top few floors, there is a weird situation in which you have to take two separate elevators to get to the room. I passed this off as just a quirk of a really old hotel. And you do have to pay extra for parking and internet access. That's just what big fancy hotels do. You should expect it.

Anyway, the room was clean and comfortable. The hotel itself is really beautiful, and near lots of the falls attractions. The staff was friendly and helpful, even when I locked all my stuff, including my room key, in the pool area. It was a very pleasant stay.

My husband and I try to find trips that our 14 yr old son will like, especially being with us. There were so many places to explore at Niagara Falls and fun activities for all ages.

We stayed at the Crowne Plaza-a beautiful hotel, old in character, that sits facing the American Falls. We could open the windows and hear the falls at night. It was so easy to walk to town and to the public bus that takes you to the different tour stops which are very well organized. We saved all our plastic ponchos that they gave for each tour and our neighbors, who also went, are going to have a Niagara party with friends, wear the ponchos, turn on the sprinkler and drink ice wime.

One of the best surprises was driving north to the town Niagara on the Lake-a quaint town on the lake. We bought food in town and had a picnic in the park, went swimming in the lake and my husband and son had a baseball catch on the lawn. We stopped at several wineries and had our first taste of ice wine-amazing!
We will be going back and our son want to go too!

I'd recommend this hotel restaurant to anyone, the food was so outstanding, certainly not cheap, but worth every penny. we didn't stay here, so I cannot comment on that, we just had dinner here.
