We went to Sam Woo last night after a long and exhausting day.

We walked in and right off the top, we were greeted with a smile.

The menu consists of what seems to be many delicious items, but we opted for the dinner for 2. We chose the wonton soup, shrimp in lobster sauce, general tso chicken and shrimp and BBQ pork fried rice. The combo also included pork or vegetable spring rolls.

Everything was delicious. The service we received was amazing! There were 3 of us and there was enough leftover for a doggy bag. The bonus is they open until 1 am, so that was nice that we didn't have to rush out and we took our time to enjoy our meal

Tip: They only accept credit card and cash payment. If you have debit, you'll have to walk to the end of the plaza to take money from the ATM like I did, but I didn't mind.

Fresh, hot, tasty Chinese cuisine at its best! We love the Peking style pork loin with chef's special sauce and the chicken with black bean sauce. Their vegetables and dishes are always fresh and crunchy. Our go to Chinese in the GTA for sure

I've been going for Dim Sum here for a few years. Unlike many Dim Sum restaurants, here you order from a menu which means the food is fresh and hot when it comes to your table. Delicious! On weekdays, if you order by 11:00 am you get a special discount. Some days it is extra busy before 11:00 and people line up. Not too often though.

Have dined here lots for dim sum and dinners, and never a complaint.

The servers seem to have good eyesight because they actually come over when they see people waving to get attention.

Can get busy weekends, so call ahead and book a reservation.

Taste, presentation, portion, and quality were very good.

We were on the way to Niagara and discovered this gem accidentally while filling up gas tank at the gas station next to it. We went to the Vietnamese place next to it (which by the way was excellent as well). We recognized the Sam Woo name cause we ate at restaurants with the same name in California and the food was great. Low and behold, they are part of that chain. It's cantonese style. We ordered dimsum for take out and it was really good. On the way back from Niagara Falls, we stopped at this restaurant for late supper. We had wonton noodles, seafood panfried noodles, congee for late supper. Food came pretty quickly and I was amazed at the big portions and the cheap prices. We filled our stomach until we could not move. Everything was delicious. The waiter was very friendly and with a happy smile. The next day, we ordered take out and ate it at the Goat Island Park overlooking the Niagara Falls on the US side. We enjoyed the great food with a great view of the park.
