I have been going to Rogues for over 20 years. One of the best restaurants in Mississauga and Toronto. Waiters are well trained and very courteous. Anthony always does it right. Highly recommend.

From the moment we were met at the door to our exit, we felt like long-time customers. It was very quiet when we arrived at 6 pm on a Thursday night but by the time we left about 2 hours later, it was pleasantly packed. The noise level naturally escalated but it didn't get too loud. Just a happy group of people. The clientele were mixed between men in business suits and older couples. We are mid/late thirties and we felt we were the youngest in the restaurant.

The kitchen puts a lot of thought into what goes into a meal and it's evident by the multitude of flavours and the pairing of ingredients. Everything was wonderfully match and not a single ingredient was over powering. I ordered a roast duck special and thought I might be hungry at the end of it but was pleasantly surprised at the generosity of the kitchen.

The burnt honey ice cream (home made) was a new flavour to us and exceptional.

This is very clearly our new favourite restaurant just five minutes from home.

Booked Rogues to host our son's Baptism reception on a Sunday. (Which are reserved for private events). A great atmosphere.
Servers were very friendly and the establishment was very clean.
Food was excellent with many compliments from guests (Antipasta, Penne pasta, Trout and Steak)
Located within a pleasant plaza for little ones to run around. Very child friendly.

The food and service were both very good. However the only thing that I didn't like was that we ordered the Frutta di Mare to share as an appetizer and although it was very nice of them to bring it in two separate dishes, they charged $2.50 extra for 1 shrimp to be put on one of the dishes and $3.50 for 1 scallop to be put on the other dish. This way we both had a shrimp each and a scallop each. The Frutta di Mare was delicious and cost $12.95 + $6.00 extra for 1 shrimp and 1 scallop. I believe they should have asked us first if we were fine with this since I believe $6.00 for 1 shrimp and 1 scallop is rather pricey. Apart from that everything else was fine.

Not sure what has changed in the past year. We used to go to Rogues regularly and especially on special occasions. It was a little pricy but we always felt it was worth it because the food and service were consistently excellent. In the past year we has a couple of bad experiences with the service, not new staff, but waiters that have been there forever. On our last visit we hardly saw our waiter. After pouring our first glass of wine, he put the bottle in an ice bucket quite far from our table. They always do that, but this time he never came back to offer more. At the end of our meal he asked if we wanted dessert. We said no, but that we will likely have espressos later. When he promptly came back with 2 espressos we asked him what happened to the rest of the wine. He went to the ice bucket, got the bottle and slammed it on the table saying "you want your wine, here it is" and walked away. That was the last time we were there and don't ever plan on returning.
