“A nice Library”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 22, 2014

I have studied in various libraries in Toronto and Greater Toronto Area....as well as Niagara falls and St. Catharines and I will have to say this is the best by far.

The Library is located near Square one and Civic Centre. One of the entrance of the library links into the Celebration Square which is quite neat.

The whole library is summed up in to 4 floors and a basement floor. The Basement floor is the kids area, floor One, two and Three are general areas and the forth floor is your quite area.

Lot of people have problem finding their parking. Its located underground and the entrance is on the side of Duke of York street. The parking has a fees but is free in the evening and on weekends.

They also have free Wifi. They also have a cafeteria located at the entrance of the library and is quite good on coffee as they started keeping starbucks coffee as well.

“Be aware”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 5, 2014

The place is big, easily accessible by bus.
Be aware while borrowing books from this location , they often try to charge even though you already returned the books long time ago. It happened to me already 5 times - it's very unpleasant and hard to prove that you returned if they say you didn't

“Multiculturalism at its best”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 25, 2013

The variety of books; of ages involved in passionate reading; and the variety of display across the Library was fascinating. At the same time one does not feel at anytime stifled by the abundance of books and publications on display, on the contrary it is both spacious and comforting to the eye to be there for as long as you can.
