My friend and I went for an early supper on a Sunday. The ambiance is great. You feel like you are in England. The service was good and the food was amazing. The Steak and Guinness Pie is soooo good. The prices are very reasonable. We will definitely go back when there is live entertainment.

This is a nice venue to relax with one's favorite English ale ! It is a older pub but great atmosphere especially on a Friday night when various bands perform. The food and service are good and depending on the band, the place does get pretty crowded.

Been in here several times and most recently last night. Typical authentic pub atmosphere. Dark, cozy and aging. It was quiet on a Monday night. Food and drink specials on weekdays. Regular price on weekends. Had the hotpot stew dish for $13. It was excellent. Lori was cute and good service.

Live bands on weekends. Convenient and lively pub to hang out in on weekend when not in mood to travel far. It also has a patio. The staff were friendly.

Only downside were I had to ask for a hockey game in one of the TV last visit. The bartender couldn't find the Leafs game for 15 minutes. Finally a customer had to take control over the TV remote to find the game. The other is the washroom is below standard. Too small and disgusting. But that's normal for pubs...LOL.

A quaint pub that has great live bands playing - especially enjoyed The David Love Band March 16th. So nice to see live music - thanks for providing the venue! Wait staff are really nice and accommodating. Our table enjoyed the nachos. Wonderful selection of delicious beers. Need to make a bigger dance floor - take away some of the carpet so we can dance to the music better.

Been going on and off since it was called the Rose and Rampant, still the same daytime barmaid after all those years.
Good selection of domestic and British beers and typical pub menu, although over the years it seems to have got smaller. Bangers and Mash and Fish and Chips are good value.

Around 5-7 pm it can be noisy as the regulars convene in the bar area and service can be a bit patchy at that time. At lunch time it's usally really quietand later at the weekends thay have a live band.
