I have been often to many of the Tucker's chains but sadly there are not many left. There are not many places that still serve huge buffets in the GTA. This time, the roast beef and turkey were excellent. Gravy for both, and very hot, needed to be poured over the stuffing to make it hot but still, it was good. A white chocolate fountain certainly made us think by dipping everything into it,..marshmallows, rice crispy squares and even cheesecake,..bad bad it was,..fat fattening!! A great range of hot dishes including roasted and jerk chicken, some Indian foods, t kinds of mussels, rices, 2 kinds of muscles, many salads and soups. The corn chowder was nice. Not many breads which was fine by me since I love bread. Ham, tacos, and many many made to order pastas. There was something for everyone, and there is no way I could have listed it all here. It was a Sunday when we visited around noon and there were many breakfast items also .... , bacon, sausages, made to order egg items, I liked most of what I had eaten knowing this is still a fast food sort of place being a buffet therefore not gourmet,... a big step above other chains like those found in the U.S. The roast beef and turkey were very good along with hot veggies and two kinds of mashed potatoes, and those alone were almost worth the $18 or so dollars each. I will go back again, but not right away,..as my waist line cannot permit. The service was also decent, and they did their best to clean off our plates as fast as our being pigs permitted.
