Restaurant very run down and tired looking. In need of a makeover. The prime rib was dried-up and tough. Menu back in the eighties. Service fair.

Good food. Good and friendly service. Priced a little higher than expected, but worth it overall. A nice destination with a predictable experience if you are entertaining out of towners or business associates.

Our family always goes to The Keg to celebrate special occasions such as birthday's etc as a special treat. Food is always excellent and the atmosphere is cozy and inviting.

The Keg franchise has many problems but the most glaring is the fact they do not know how to prepare a steak. I have numerous customers that want to go to The Keg when we go for lunch or dinner as a part of doing business. Never have I had a decent meal at any of their locations. Steaks are always overcooked and never seasoned properly. Since there are no decent steakhouses in Ontario people in this province are left to assume this is good food and accept it. If they were to visit Alberta, Oklahoma or Texas and have a great steak they would all share my opinion

Four of us (males 70+) have been getting together annually for about 13 years for golf and dinner. We've been to four different Keg's over the years. This one was very good - but they are a bit pricey. We arrived at 7 pm and were seated promptly in a very nice location.

Appetizers were baked shrimp and calamari. Two had rib steaks and said they were excellent. Two had 7 oz filet's and they were perfect. Double baked potato was also excellent. Billy Minor pie was nice as well - but fattening. Total bill was $330 with tax and tip for dinner, a drink each before dinner and red wine with dinner.

If we golf in this area again we will certainly be back. A very enjoyable time and our waitress was pleasant and efficient. We left at 10 pm as we did not rush and they did not rush us and simply adjusted the service to our pace.

I live about two hundred miles from this restaurant so it is not a location I am likely to visit without another reason to be in the area. I will be sampling the Keg in Windsor soon though.
