“The management & facility need a lot of improvement!”
Reviewed September 8, 2011

There is no elevator in a 3 story/level building. We were assigned a room in the 3rd floor and we had to carry our luggages up through the stairs. The door lock in the room was not working and the personnel was insisting that we leave our stuffs in the room and then they will fix it. of course we did not agree. We requested to be transferred to another room but he was insisting that they will fix it. When we said that we were checking out if they will not fix the problem, that's the time that he gave us a room. On the day that we were checking out, the same personnel knocked on our door at 9:30 AM to tell us that we were supposed to be checking out at 11 AM. In all of the times that we have stayed in the hotel, we have not experienced that. Sorry, but we will not recommend this particular hotel to anyone!

We stayed here for 3 nights for our Toronto Vacation. Hotel was Clean & included breakfast & pretty close to where we were going! We weren't too close to the airport so we avoided that traffic and not too far from anywhere we were visiting! Included a breakfast with waffles, bagels, toast, cereal, yogurt, coffee, juice, etc. Comparing the prices of downtown Toronto, it was a GREAT deal! We went to Toronto to do Harbour cruises, Chinatown and more and it was 20 minutes away (except when stuck in traffic), then we went to Canada's Wonderland for a day and it was less than 20 minutes away! We also went to Horseshoe adventure park in Barrie... it was a little over an hour away. GREAT location for the hotel for what places we were visiting! Room was clean and the maid did great Every day. A few updates in the bathroom could be done & in the room but for the price, no complaints. We paid $72 each night for 2 nights & $68 a night plus taxes
*** Downfall is there is NO elevator! Not a big deal... only 3 floors and even after a long day the stairs weren't bad when we were on the 3rd floor. Just be prepared for it. **
Also, the air is loud in the room but works great and keeps things cool.

Room Tip: Always ask for the lowest rate!

Stayed here for a week. The rooms were clean. Hotel offers free breakfast. Waffles, bagels, juice, coffee, fruit, yogurt, cereal. Plenty of parking also. I would stay there again

It's not fancy, but served the purpose for what we needed: a place to stay for two nights while we worked in the Toronto area. Easy access to QEW, quiet, good beds (and AC!!) and plenty of hot water.... Free breakfast each morning included coffee, juice, milk, cereal, waffles, bagels, toast, canned and fresh fruit, yogurt, along with the appropriate spreads - jam, cream cheese, PB, and butter. Our queen size room included a fridge and coffee maker~ another bonus! Lots of great ethnic restaurants are within a short drive in a variety of nearby shopping center - even some places within walking distance. Why pay Toronto prices??

If you have luggage then please don't stay at this hotel, This is worst hotel with rooms stinky and bathroom worst. Also there is no elevator to third room. You will regret if you stay even for one night here.

Room Tip: Look for downtown, there are some good hotels

The room was reasonably clean and the front desk quite friendly. But:
- dated decor from 1970s
- confusing, dated bath tap which made adjusting water temp difficult at first
- told shuttle stop at midnight and I was to phone hotel upon arrival (no other way to arrange pickup beforehand or schedule given). Plane arrived at 11:30pm but with luggage unloading, it was after midnight before I could leave. Tried to phone hotel in interim but NO WORKING PHONES at airport. Learned later from shuttle driver that shuttle stops running at 1:30 am. Forced to take taxi, which has monopoly, at airport. One-way taxi fare cost 1/2 price of room
- had to catch 6:10 shuttle to airport. Breakfast was pre-packaged and a bit sparse. No hot coffee.
-small hotel - suitable for a one-nighter but not for longer stays

To be fair, the staff tried very hard to make it a nice stay, especially the front desk. The rooms were dated (I would say from the mid 70's ). The rooms were clean but the decor was shoddy. For example peeling wallpaper and old, loud plumbing. The bed was an old style, low to the ground unit on a moveable iron frame. Very worn and not a great rest. It needs to be gutted and completely renovated.
