Upon arrival, we were greeted promptly by a very courteous desk clerk named Sunil, who even asked us if we wanted some water. He printed out a list of restaurants in the area that we might like to try. The hotel manager was also helpful to us. The bed was comfortable, and the room was clean and well-appointed. Free coffee in the lobby in the morning was a welcome perk. We did not use the spa or order breakfast at the hotel. We would stay there again when visiting Toronto.

Located near Pearson, this hotel is very modern. The bed was super comfy, although the room was a bit small, but fine for just a couple. Mike at the front desk was very accomodating and super efficient. Free internet and parking add to the value. Didn't use the pool.
Had breakfast the next day, ordered from the a la carte menu, and the food was good, although a little pricey for basic breakfast.
Will probably stay again.
The location is on the "far side" of the airport, the opposite of most of the airport hotels and the terminals.

Room Tip: Request a higher floor room on the rear side of the building to avoid traffic noise from busy Dixie...

Used points for this hotel while visiting Montreal...good way to save your points and still get a great hotel experience. With one exception, every single person we dealt with was warm and helpful. Rooms are very clean and up to par with all other Sheraton properties. Great pool, Fitness center and bar/restaurant top off a great experience. I know the location seems a bt sketchy but it's really just because it is a more industrial section of the city. Added note: About 6 miles down the road (near Walmart) you can park your car FOR FREE in the Dixie GO lot and take the train or bus into Union Station Toronto...15 to 25 minutes (depending on time of day) and you don't have to worry about trying to find a very expensive place to park in downtown.

I stayed there for two night for my daughter's graduation. Very convenient location near the highway 401; not far away from a good shopping (with grocery) mall (about 10 -20 mins from the Square One Shopping Center). Friendly frontdesk and staff members. Clean and well equipped room (two bed room for my case). Swimming pool (small) and fitness room; free parking and wireless internet, and even a bottle of free water in the room. Refrigerator (small) in the room. One interesting observation: When I reserved this hotel, I was worried about plane departure/arrival sound. For last some years for my staying around Toronoto airport, almost all hotels' roooms that I stayed were noisy. But, compared with them, hotel room was much more quiet. One of the best among hotels I stayed in and around Toronto last two years (compred with prices).

Minor drawbacks: If your final destination(s) is(are) Toronto downtown (DT), you have to reconsider this place due to traffic; it can take more than an hour from the hotel at the worst (for me, it took 30 mins or so since I had to travel to DT during weekends; even durring weekdays, t still prefer to stay outside, unless absolutely necessary, due to a lot of add-on charges from downtown hotels). As you may see in hotel pictures, the hotel room was narrow in one side; therefore, the chari side and location was very annoying for people to pass by between the chair and beds. Although 403 is near 401, you can not go to 403 from 401 from the hotel (through Dixie Rd); you have travel some locals ways to directly to go to 403 from the hotel location (this was anooying to me).

However, all these are minor things, and I do not hesitate to recommend anyone this hotel.

Stayed in this hotel for a day, second week of April 2013, between connecting flights. It was our first stay here, booked it online, check-in was a breeze, thanks Mike, and all the staff was pleasantly nice. Our suite was ready and very comfortable, bed was a heaven. All the toiletries were updated and of standard, huge bathroom. Ordered in food from the restaurant, quick delivery, nice delicious and warm.
Check out was quick, with a smile and thank you ! Yes, the exterior look dated and needs some uplift, but as soon as you enter the lobby, it is very comforting. Its a small satellite hotel, but very accommodating.
Good budget hotel in the area.

Room Tip: 8th floor, view of the city is beautiful at night.

We got a really good rate at this hotel and I was pleasantly surprised...room appeared to be recently renovated; very modern, wood looking tile and coat rack in entry way, bathroom with wall dispensers of shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Large room with long counter top along the wall, mini fridge, coffee machine and free bottle of water. Free wifi and parking were very welcome and the free parking especially almost unheard of. Restaurant in hotel served a nice range, a little expensive but good food. Only negative about the very nice room for me was that it was a little dark, the pillows were too soft and the heater compressor made a lot of noise every time it turned on.
Now the negative..until this point, would have definitely returned to this hotel however we waited
1 hour and 13 minutes for the shuttle on a freezing cold Sunday afternoon. When we first called from the airport we were told the shuttle was already there. 15 minutes later with no shuttle we thought perhaps we had missed it. Called the hotel and receptionist said he is leaving now and will be there in 15 minutes. Another 45 minutes later he arrived and said he had to wait for another customer whose flight was arriving in 5 minutes! We were frozen, upset at the continuing delay and the fact that whilst we had been made to wait 1 hour and 13 minutes, we should be asked to wait perhaps another 30 minutes for the customer whose plane had still to arrive - let alone wait for his luggage or go through customs/immigration! At this point I did lose my temper whereupon the shuttle driver gave me his phone to speak to the receptionist...I explained my dissatisfaction and requested we be transported immediately which they finally agreed to do. While waiting for this shuttle, all the other hotel shuttles had passed by at least twice..including the Days Inn bus - a hotel which is several layers below Sheraton yet seems to offer punctual shuttle service. The shuttle to the airport the next morning left on time. As I mentioned earlier, but for this experience I would definitely have returned to this hotel but very likely will not...unless I read newer reviews that mentioning positive shuttle reviews.

Our circumstances are probably different from 99% of travelers to Toronto. We used 'wood points to get this room for free to use during our 13 hour layover in Toronto before flying to Santiago, Chile later that night (we had a good reason for doing this rather than checking out Toronto). We landed at 10:30am or so and were able to call the hotel from the Information phone in the baggage claim area. Be aware that there are more than one Four Points by Sheraton near the airport, so you need to specify the one on Dixie Road. Anyway, a shuttle came to pick us up from the airport within 10 minutes. On the map, it looks closer to the airport, but it was probably 10 minutes to drive from pick-up to the hotel.

We had contacted the hotel ahead of time to ask for an early check-in time - fortunately, they were able to accomodate us by checking us in at 11am...and we got a complimentary upgrade to the King Junior Suite! We relaxed and recovered from a long work week in their very comfy bed and spacious room for the entire day.

The hotel isn't near much, so we had lunch and dinner at the restaurant in the lobby. The lunch was ok. The dinner was a little better. They seemed to have some Indian specials that aren't found on the menus of other Four Points hotels.

It was a perfect place near the airport to nap the day away. Convenient to be able to shower before a long 12-hour, overnight flight. Can't say much on "Value" because we used points.

The only negative, which is relatively small negative, was the experience with the shuttle back to the airport later that night. After dinner, we inquired about getting a shuttle to the airport around 9:45pm or so. The guy at the front desk negotiated us down to 9:30pm. Fine. When it was 9:00pm, we received a call from the front desk asking if we could come down and get on the shuttle leaving asap. OK. Fortunately, we were ready. It didn't make sense because it didn't sound like the shuttle was picking up others from the airport (nor was it driving anyone else to the airport). And for a place that advertises an airport shuttle that goes late into the night, it shouldn't matter when a guest wants to go, right? Anyway, that was a little weird. Fortunately, the international terminal at Pearson still had open shops and restaurants.
