“Adequate, but clearly dated”
Reviewed May 25, 2008

I stayed one night at this Meadowvale Comfort Inn; it was only 6000 Choice Club pts.

Easy to find when you're heading south from Hwy 401. However, if you're heading north from other places south, it was a frustrating trip through suburbia.

My queen bed room was spacious. A desk and table, but only 2 chairs. The 2 light wall sconces were clearly dated, as was the wall paper border. The 2nd drawer in the wood wall unit no longer has a hinge to open. Sealed window, and the air conditioner is controlled only by knobs. Fridge, microwave and coffeemaker all standard. Carpet okay.

Bathroom is dated, including a large mirror with a plum-colored frame. Wallpaper past it's best before date. The curved shower curtain rod and hair dryer are about the only updates there.

Open closet has wooden hangers with those annoying attached-to-the-rod hooks. Iron, board, and 2 portable luggage holders.

Two floors, no elevator. Ice machine and $2 soda/pop bottles near the 2nd floor main stairwell.

Although I didn't use, the fitness room sign states 6:30am to 10 or 11pm. Breakfast 6:30-9:30, 10am on Sat/Sun, but I had an early flight.

There's various restaurants nearby, including Swiss Chalet next door, Wendy's and Tim Horton's across the street. McDonalds just down from that. Kelsey's restaurant is at the end of the block.

This motel has several meeting rooms, probably because of all the industry in the area. Free parking; it's a 20 minute drive to Pearson airport.

Overall, the place needs a makeover.

the room was fine for the one night that we needed. the drive up to room was very nice. only problems box spring was falling apart..couch was stained and woke up to bugs in the bathroom.....where were they crawling before we encountered them in the morning.....when we tried to call front desk the phone rang without answer on the 3 attempts. At check out the 1 lady that was working seemed so busy that we thought for sure our complaints would fall on deaf ears. Could have used more pillows....actual bed pillows, not throw pillows.

We choose this hotel when we are staying in the Greater Toronto Area, as it provides great value for the dollar.

The desk staff is friendly and helpful, and the rooms are clean and spacious. A nice complimentary continental breakfast is served each morning.

We recently stayed in a suite, as our adult son was staying with us. The suite rate was less expensive than two separate rooms.

All of the suites are on the second floor of the hotel. The hotel has converted a few rooms by taking two regular rooms, and joining them together, in to a spacious suite.

In the one half is a large living room, with a TV, a desk with an office chair, a pull-out couch, and a galley style kitchen.

The second half has the bathroom, and the bedroom which is accessed by a windowed door. The bedroom has two queen beds, a second TV, and another desk with chair.

It was nice having two seprate areas, as someone could lie down in the bedroom, while in the other area the TV could be on.

Another great stay and we will definitely book a suite, rather than two separate rooms, in the future.

The only good thing about the comfort inn in Meadownvale is that considering the location the rooms are quite quiet.

The breakfast was nothing special. Some of the danish/croissants were very hard, but it is free, and toats and coffee is plenty enough.

I had questions regarding places to go to for dinner. The person I the front desk could only tell me about places a mile from the hotel, further than that they were helpless. I had to insist to get the Yellow pages in order to find the specific place I was thinking off. They always felt 'out of it' when i had questions.

I guess the room was clean but it didnt feel clean: for one thing the carpet felt humid in the morning after condensation...

We didnt sleep well because of the bumpy matress.

I recently visited some relatives in Mississauga and was recommended to this hotel. The feeling of comfort is exactly what I experienced during my stay at the Comfort Inn Meadowvale. The front desk staff was very polite, friendly and attentive upon check in. He also provided great information regarding the surrounding amenities in the area and about downtown Toronto. The room was very clean and more spacious than I expected, fully equipped with a tv, mini bar fridge and a microwave. The breakfast included a wide selection of breads and pastries, cereals, fresh fruit and spreads. Having access to wireless internet was also a bonus, when in this day and age it’s almost necessity! I was also surprised that they had a fitness centre there, I was glad I was still able to workout even though I was away from home.
All in all, the Comfort Inn Meadowvale is a place with GREAT VALUE for the price. My stay was very pleasant, I will definitely return there again.

We stay at a lot of Comfort Inns every time we travel, and like the others, this one was wonderful. The breakfast was plentiful, room was clean, and there were many restaurants that we strolled by before deciding on eating at Kelseys. Staff was very helpful in offering directions, and the front desk member even carried our bags to the second floor. Will definately stay there again the next time we visit Mississauga.
