This hotel just changed ownership and is undergoing revonvation. I get that means you've got to cut some slack however there are a few things that simply should not be

1) you should not be checked into an occupied room so you walk in on another half naked guest. After hauling your stuff back to the front desk you should not subsequently be checked into a second occupies room

2) you should not get other people's 6am wake up calls

3) you should not get locked out of your room each morning because your key card expires

4) showers should be consistently hot and drains, drain

5) if you offer wifi, it shouldn't cut out every half hour or so

This was obviously a nice hotel once but it's past it's prime and it would appear that the new ownership is working to refresh it but they are missing some essential customer service elements in the meantime

So we got stuck in Canada because our flight was late coming in and missed our connecting flight so Air Canada put us here.
It took awhile for the shuttle to pick us up at the airport, so maybe they should come by more often. We waited for about 45min before they arrived and saw the other hotels shuttles at least 2-3 times while we waited. Also when I went inside the airport to ask someone about the shuttle no one had ever heard of the hotel, even when I used the information phone to try and contact the hotel they had no idea who I was talking about either.
The hotel you can tell is having renovations done which is fine, but the airline gave us food vouchers for the hotel and we are told that the restaurant is closed for renovations so we can walk to a place that will accept our vouchers (which didnt seem all that close) or order pizza.
After taking the elevators upstairs you go through a door to get to the rooms and it is freezing cold up there. Also the hallways and room smells like it used to be a smoking hotel and they are trying to cover up the smell with to much cleaner. yuck.
The room was spacious and the bed a little firm for my taste, but not a huge deal. Felt that the room was clean, but a little outdated. The wall paper in the bathroom was dirty and desperately needs to be stripped off.
We had an early flight out the next morning and the shuttle was there on time to drive us, so that was a plus.
Over all probably not somewhere Id stay again.

Booked this hotel for proximity to airport, price and because of the waterslide for children. Lobby looks nice, but overall hotel is run down and in need of updating. Waterslide run down and rusty. Pool smelled. Room was fine. Restaurant was not open - no walkable restaurants near by except McDonalds. Staff I dealt with were not professional. Got home to find an unauthorized charge on my credit card 3x the amount of my stay (on top of my room charge). Had to actively pursue management to resolve. No phone calls were returned. Explanation: another guest's charge on my card. No formal apology given. Took over a week to refund charges. Compensation promised for time spent resolving and for inconvience but none given. Upon arrival also noticed staff apologising for something similar to guest on the phone. Have a feeling this may be a common occurence. Would not stay here again.

We used this hotel for an over night stay before leaving for the airport the following morning. We specifically chose this hotel so that we could leave our car there during our holiday and I called the hotel to verify that parking would be available at no extra charge. Unfortunately they failed to inform us that they charge an extra fee to leave your car there if you book the hotel thru Expedia. They did back down and waive the fee after we protested, but this should have been made clear when we called. Things like this do leave a bad impression and I will look for a different hotel next time.

My stay was related to a 2 day special event at the hotel. Loved the free shuttle from the airport!
I was so happy with my room because it turned out to be a bedroom and living room area. Our events went well in the facilities. The only low point was the understaffed restaurant. I was thrilled to have a night view from my room of downtown Toronto's skyline and could see the CN tower.
