Our group of 18 or so was hosted by someone who did all the ordering for us, in Portuguese. We had the piri piri shrimp and bacalhau with potatoes and egg, as well as a bean, sausage and tripe dish. These were share platters and were excellent. We "blancos" also each ordered an individual meal. The food was exquisite. The ambiance is lovely. It's not getting 5 stars because I found, as non-Portuguese speakers, that we were virtually ignored by the wait staff. Dishes were roughly placed, and roughly cleared. The waiters certainly look professional, but they didn't thrill. We didn't feel welcomed when we arrived (two of us were first) and no one looked up from the bar/host station to wish us a nice afternoon when we left. Food, 5 stars. Service 3.
