The best duck confit I have ever had. Great atmosphere, delightful food. All of our dishes were excellent, fresh and flavorful. Cannot recommend highly enough!

This was truly a surprise, and a very plesant one at that. Close to most of the major downtown hotels (I stayed at the Holiday Inn) this was walking distance and the walk made a great lead up and cap to a great meal. Now, this is straight bistro fare through and through, so don't expect to discover a new flavour or dish here, but you can expect expertly prepared dishes with courteous and non-intrusive service in a dignified yet casual setting (I wore my red flannel and wasn't out of place, even though there were young couples on dates, seniors celebrating an anniversary and a couple of ladies doing a tea and desert service with a side of gossip)

I had the French onion soup, the Beef Wellington and an EggNog cheesecake. The soup was the winner, with a delicious broth with onions cooked to the perfect consistency, and enough beef in the broth to tie together the high quality ingredients. The Wellington came with local beef and was quite tasty, but the heirloom
carrots were the star of that dish, again perfectly cooked with plenty of crunch without too much effort. The cheesecake was beautifully presented, but I wanted more eggnog to come through, especially for something ao obviously intentioned to be a playful dish.

We visited on a Sunday evening to take advantage of the Londonlicious Festival which Auberge was participating in for the 2 weeks that the festival runs giving patrons a very reasonable price to enjoy what the restaurant has chosen to serve on the special menu.
The service was very attentive and polite. She even replaced our candle once it had burned out. The food was top notch. Everything from the soup, entree and to the dessert and coffee. The ambiance is very charming and we can't wait to return when the warmer weather returns and the garden is open for dining.

From Chris Squires to the current owners and chef, I've never had a meal that wasn't totally satisfying and delicious at this wonderful establishment
