The Hampton Inn is a pleasant, clean and comfortable place to stay. The staff were friendly and efficient. The room was large and well appointed. Beds were comfortable. It would be nice to have a choice between a heavy comforter and just a sheet but despite some temperature issues we slept well. Free wifi was greatly appreciated and the signal was good.
Breakfast was included. It was very busy (lots of sports families) but the staff kept the food coming. At the same time it was typical, "free" breakfast food. I suggest you avoid the eggs (not pleasant) and fruit salad (poor flavour), make your own toast or waffles (nice and fresh), and maybe enjoy a piece of fruit, some yogurt or cereal (several choices). I mixed skim and 2% to get a sort of 1% milk.
The motel is way down at the south end of London (near the 401) so not the best location if you want to be near the university or even downtown, but the comfort and price made up for the inconvenience.More
