We arrived at 5pm and were given keys to our room, only to find it still occupied. The previous guest had decided to stay over and the owner did not bother to put it in the system. We could have stolen all of her belongings.

Being a large man, my wife and I do not fit in anything less than a queen bed and we had reserved a room with KING BED AND FOLD OUT COUCH for our family of four. We were in London for two days of meetings and really needed to sleep well and be alert for the day.

The clerk apologized to us and promised that he would have the guest moved to another room by the time we returned at 9pm. However, that did not happen.

In spite of having a reservation for two days they bumped us into room with 2 DOUBLE beds. We ended up having to have OUR ONE SON SLEEP ON THE FLOOR on the floor on blankets. The hotel did not even have a cot.

In the morning we had a poor breakfast (not even any cereal or yogurt) and on day 2, they did the same thing to us, saying that they would not be able to give us the room we required because the guest had stayed over again. When warning the owner that we would be posting about the experience, she didn’t care.

The hotel really is nice and the rooms clean, much better than you would expect for the money paid. But the customer service is bad.

We ended up having to check out and go down the road to the Ramada. Not quite so nice, but much better service and more amenities.

Apparently recently renovated. Still smelled the paint. Rooms were clean and spacious enough. Breakfast was very poor and should improve, but what can you expect for that price. Excellent for an overnight stay. Would stay again.

Our double room was very clean. The bedding was quite new and very comfortable and the type that is washed each time (not like some places with bedspreads). Our room had a good sized fridge and microwave, the fridge was nice and cold. The front desk woman was very nice, friendly and efficient. The breakfast in the morning was fine, not sure if they just ran out of cold cereal as we got there at the very end, but that was the only thing missing. I would stay here again, especially given the cheap rate we paid.

I stayed at this inn last night with my husband and son and didn't get any sleep at all. There were a bunch of people in the room next door partying until 4am until they were finally kicked out. All I heard all night was cursing and banging. It was by far my worst stay anywhere and I am not picky at all. The setup of the room was very awkward. As soon as we walked in there was a sink. There was no sink in the bathroom though which was very tiny. The positives are that there is free wifi and continental breakfast, which is just bread, jams, packaged cookies, and fruit from a can. The front desk were polite but did not comp us for our horrible stay, although they did say they would give us a great deal next time. We will definately not be returning. I came home exhausted.
