My husband and I enjoyed a great dinner at this cafe. Located in a lodge, on beautiful property, the cafe is quaint and charming. It's a casual atmosphere and we enjoyed the talented Jason Mercer on the guitar that evening Our initial choice of wine was a disappointment and the server quickly brought us another - much more pleasing! The $25 3-course dinner was great value and w're sure to dine at the Cafe again! Consider going to the cafe on a snowy day - all diners have great views of the property and the beauty of nature! .

Two couples dined before attending theatre. First visit, and quite impressed. Advertised special was a three course meal for $25. All selections were deliscious -you can't go wrong! Even the portions of steak surprisingly generous and perfectly cooked. Dining room is surrounded on three sides by glass for the woodland views - but the cool, wet weather outside seemed to permiate indoors. Attentive waiter quickly brought over a portable heater! Only downfall, there was just one waiter for the first hour we were there, and service was very, very slow. We will definitly be back - and perhaps try the pasta bar served during lunch - and hopefully enjoy the views during daylight!

Rude staff, terrible value. This was so underwhelming. I will say the view from the patio was great.

I have visited this restaurant for breakfast buffet, lunch buffet & a la carte & dinner menu.
Every visit has not disappointed. Sit by the fireplace at breakfast, enjoy the snow falling outdoors or view deer who love to munch the nearby vegetation. Try their "bee" beer.
In the summer, the screened dining area is a wonderful place to enjoy a leisurely meal with friends. This restaurant is used by overnight guests, business people, university workers and the public. Healthy food choice with prices from $10 - $20 for most items.

nice variety on the menu - and the honey beer was excellent. The atmosphere is lacking something but I think it's just that it feels like a university - the servers were very nice.
