Pick your favorites and get your tickets early. Jeff Christmas and his works are our favorite - often dramatic and theatrical. Would like to see a new venue replacing the present building.

Very good orchestra despite budgetary restraints. We always attend the blue jeans and classics nights. It's nice once in a while to go out to someplace classy and be able to dress comfortably.

0ver the years my husband and I have enjoyed many concerts performed by Orchestra London. We are music-lovers, not musicians, and the music of this orchestra entertains and delights us every time we attend a concert. The orchestra performs music selections encompassing various musical categories, at various locations around the city, such as St. Paul's Cathedral, but most of their concerts are held at their house residence, Centennial Hall, located on Wellington Street in downtown London, for more information: http://www.orchestralondon.ca/ or phone: [--]. Quite often patrons will be treated to visiting singers and musicians, many of them national and international award-winners. Orchestra London provides beautiful music for all musical tastes, we have attended classical and contemporary concerts that have all been excellent. There are evening performances as well as Sunday Brunch performances at a very nice venue in the city, which includes a lovely brunch, all for $55 each. There are also family concerts and Saturday morning concerts for little ones aged 6 and under, held at local libraries. Ticket prices are reasonable, all seats are generally good seats and some concerts offer cabaret-style seating so that you can enjoy a drink at your table during the performance. The atmosphere is casual and relaxed, and there is bar service available at the Centennial Hall location during intermission, along with a gift shop to purchase CD's, etc. The season begins in the fall and each series has specific performance dates and locations, check the website for details or call the box office. Most tickets are less than $50 each. If you are searching for a reasonably priced fall/winter/spring getaway, an Orchestra London performance one night, with daytime spent enjoying a local activity such as skiing at Boler Mountain Ski Club, visiting the Children's Museum, shopping elegant Richmond Row or one of the trendy malls, skating at Victoria Park, or attending a 3-D movie at the Executive Cinema at Westmount, followed by a Grand Theatre performance the next night, fits the bill perfectly for any theatre and musical aficionado.
