Story book gardens has gone downhill over the years unfortunately. With most of the water creatures gone, I just find its sort of boring there other than the big play gym at the back for the kids.

After driving by the sign for many years it was a pleasure to finally visit this hidden gem. It is very family oriented & it was a good afternoon. If you are looking for a " Canada's Wonderland"
experience this is not the place for you. But if you want an enjoyable & relatively affordable spot then this the place for you. It is clean & everything is close by. You are encouraged to bring a picnic lunch. The tables are nearby. All in all, we had a 9 year old & a 5 year old. It was nice seeing kids being kids.
The only complaint and it is a Big one is the Canada Geese. Like so many other places in Ontario they have taken over absolutely every open public space with no restrictions. That said we would return again

we had season passes to Storybook and live close by so we went at least twice a week.

My son (6 years old) LOVES it. His favorite is either the "spiderman ropes" or the "Pillow"
We always have a great time.

Skating in the winter is also a blast.

The childrens' rides, play area, water park, and reduced animal exhibits are entertaining. Staff are helpful and deal with the children well.

An afternoon flies by and, before leaving the parking lot, a ride on the Meryy=Go-Round and tain cap the visit.

Go equiped with plenty of sun tan lotion and extra clothing for the young ones on hot days.
