“Playground of my childhood”
Reviewed November 17, 2012

Storybook was a magical place to me,as a child. Of course,Im grown up now and see it differently but it is still a lovely place to visit.
The Thames runs alongside the park so a family can have some time in the park, then have a picnic on one of the many tables and just chill out.
Beautiful place.

“Needs a bit of TLC”
Reviewed November 8, 2012

It's a great place to take the kids, but some areas need a bit of TLC. Some of the displays look a little tired.

“It's lost it's magic :(”
Reviewed October 27, 2012

I went along on a class trip this year to Storeybook. I was shocked how run down and pathetic this park has become. I would never bring children here as its just sad. Other than a couple playgrounds and a splashpad they really have nother to offer. A couple rusty old carnival rides and overpriced hotdogs are not worth the trip out! Save your money and just go to a park!

“Amazeing place!”
Reviewed October 17, 2012

Storybook gardens is great to visit all year round. In the winter there is ice skateing, and in the summer they have camps. It is a great place to go with children ages 9mths to 6 years of age. I love it and hope you will to.

“Without the animals, it's lost all it's draw.”
Reviewed October 17, 2012

I've made 3 trips to Storybook Gardens, and it used to be good! The seals and petting zoo were the main attraction, as well as the pretty setting. In the fall, the colourful leaves and flocks of migratory birds make for a picturesque park in which to walk and take pictures. Kids of all ages enjoyed the animals, as well as the playground equipment and water park.

But, now the animals have mostly been sold off (and the seals died in transit!). The beautiful setting has been ruined by a bunch of cheap midway rides, making the park loud and ugly. It used to be a place to spend a nice day with the family, and now it's just another place trying to milk money from you. It's really sad.
