I was convinced by a friend that Bella Bistro was the new 'in' place to eat. Well at best, it's the new adequate place to eat. Years ago this was Tommy's, a greasy spoon eatery which served up run of the mill food in huge portions. One thing about Tommy's, you never went away hungry. Bella Bistro should offer their customers a magnifying glass with which to locate the miniscule portions of food. The quality of food I'd classify as not bad. It's certainly not great, but it's not bad. However, you'll want to eat again within the next couple of hours. The ambiance is very dated, the location is appalling and the parking is miserable. Access from the busy Bath Road necessitates taking ones life in their hands. Whatever the drawbacks, the place appears to be quite popular; although I'll hesitate before considering another visit.
