“Great Fish and Chips”
Reviewed March 14, 2013

If you want good, well done fish and chips this is a good place to go. It is right in downtown Kingston just a short walk from the waterfront and City Hall. It is beautifully decorated outside with hanging baskets of flowers which makes it a perfect place to eat outside. Try it - you will like it!

“Liked it so much we returned a second night”
Reviewed January 30, 2013

A small local bar/restaurant with outstanding fish and chips. You choose the fish and can order a smaller amonut of fries if you want less than the mountain sized portion usually given. Lots of locals there enjoying the good food. Service was friendly and fast, bar prices were reasonable. My British collegue had the steak and kidney pie and said it was delicious, tasting homemade. You'll enjoy a casual evening at the Pilot House if you like fish n' chips or other British /Canadian specialities.

“locals”
Reviewed January 9, 2013

Go to the Pilot House for a pint and some fish & chips. Really good fish & chips! It might be hard to squeeze in because there is a group of people who seem to live there, I like the ambiance at this pub....the location is superb as well. Eating outside in the summer is nice. The only downside is the same crowd of locals who take up most of the room....the pub is so small. I only hope they drink alot.
