We have eaten at Casa Domenico before on our regular trips to Kingston and have always enjoyed our meals there. This time we were in Kingston on the Easter long weekend and stopped at the Casa for lunch on Friday. We enjoyed a leisurely lunch starting with the Arancini, nice and crispy on the outside and a delicious asparagus risotto with fontina prosciutto cotto inside served with an excellent tomato sauce. For our main courses, I had the Scallopatti (spaghetti, scallops, bacon, sundried tomato, lobster sauce). Yum, so good. My husband had the Oceano nella Scodella (crab risotto, scallop, shrimp, lobster sauce). It was good and he enjoyed it but was disappointed that he didn't go with his usual dish, the Gamberi fra Diavola, which is his favourite.
The service was attentive and didn't hover or rush us.
This is definitely one of our favourite go-to places when we're in Kingston.
