Do great restaurants get better with age? Like a fine wine? Not this one :-(
It has been an institution in Kingston for years, and for good reason, but standards can and do, - and have slipped.
Even the frites, ( which are really potato strings), which were legendary, are now in the 'good but not great' category. (He sighs with nostlgia).
The fish soup base, tomato, and one I love, is thin, for example, It's still very good, but no longer worth the detour off the 401.
Place is packed though, so maybe it's just me.
