Third stay at this luscious B&B. I'm not usually a big fan of these but this has the feel of a grand home of the 1800s and engenders genteel acknowledgement of other guests without feeling crowded and having forced conversations. The common areas retain the men's club feel, the breakfast rooms are sunny and bright, and the rooms peppered over 3 floors and the annex are delightfully unique. For business I recommend the Annex rooms as they are a bit more sheltered from street noise (really just an issue in the winter) and have extra space for lounging. Breakfasts here are gourmet concoctions that are a fabulous way to start the day. His is a place you shouldn't miss if you are headed to the Limestone City.

Room Tip: The rooms in the Annex are easier to access and larger

This B&B is a gem! A wonderful location for a visit to Kingston. The owners are gracious and interesting. Each room is beautifully appointed and the beds are extremely comfortable. The bathrooms use Aveda soaps, which is always a nice touch as well. The breakfast is what really sets this B&B apart though. A 4 course breakfast with numerous options, and a focus on local food. A true gourmet experience!

My wife and I just needed to get away, so we decided to do the B&B thing. This place was very welcoming. We got to kingston early (11 am) parked the car at the Frontenac club and went on our way. We checked in, got a nice tour and history of the place. We stayed in the Sandburg suite, it was huge and 1 of the rooms with a jacuzzi. The bed was great, the room was quit and we had a great sleep. The breakfast was amazing, the main course was a smoked salmon eggs Benedict, so good( the sample breakfast that's on there website). Then we did the same thing, we left our car and stayed the whole day in downtown kingston, picking our car up after dinner. Not only will we stay here again next time family come to visit, we'll get them to stay here.

Room Tip: Go on there website they have great pictures of all the rooms and you can pick the right one for you...

Easily the finest B & B in Kingston. Excellent rooms, ideal location, wonderful breakfast, and loaded with historic character. It was the first Bank of Montreal in Kingston in the nineteenth century. Exceptional staff. You don't need to look any further - this is the one!

This place was recommended to us by one of our Canadian friends. Kingston is a great place for a long weekend in Canada, central to the thousand islands, and this must be one of the most interesting places to stop. It seems a little expensive for a B&B at first but it has a great atmosphere. The rooms used to be parts of Ontario's oldest bank. We had a little suite that used to be the managers offices. If you take a few beers or a bottle of wine back with you they have a communal fridge in the old vault. Individual air con in every room and large flat screen TV. This is my favorite B&B in the world to date. The breakfasts are outstanding and would probably get a Michelin Star in the UK.

This was our second stay at this lovely Inn. A former Bank, also a former men's club, the rooms are each different. This stay, we were in the Gordon Suite. A set of rooms with a sitting room with lovely leather club chairs and a sofa, a small office, and the bedroom, it was equipped, as all the rooms are, with a gas fireplace. All of this, with a fabulous breakfast, for about what you would pay for a cookie cutter hotel room at a bland high rise. The rooms, and the huge main floor sitting room, are lovingly decorated. The hosts are friendly, and the welcome warm. The location, a three minute walk from most restaurants in the centre of town, is ideal. Why stay in a bland hotel when you can stay here?

Excellent B+B. Enjoy that it is more a mixture of a hotel and B and B. It's quaint and the rooms are great, the food is delicious and home cooked, however you don't feel like you're staying in someones house. The rooms are great, and excellent value for what they're priced at.

I have stayed here on 3 occasions for 3 different years and every time have been delighted.

Great proximity to Queen's and the downtown.

I would highly recommend this place to anyone. You won't be disappointed.

Room Tip: I would recommend certain rooms, but want them for myself when I come haha. Gardini and Stone room...
