Enjoyed the scallops, but the fish was dry. Service was good.
Atmosphere was like a diner. Not sure if it was just an off day for the fish or not.

Thank Debra M

This little restaurant situated uptown in Kingston is a great place for seafood. Our favourite is the haddock and fries.
The food is fast and affordable.
We generally order take out and by the time we arrive its ready and waiting.
Last time I was there, I ordered and waited for the take out. They brought it out to the car!
The staff is very nice and alot of seniors seem to hang out here for meals…must mean something!

We have been to George’s on more than just a few occasions. We typically get the Family Special; 4 pcs of Halibut with fries and slaw. Fish is always fresh and tasty with a nice light batter.
Service is very friendly and prompt which is reflected in the number of regular customers. The Special with a coffee and a tea and tip come to about $30. Great value and service- you can’t go wrong. Give them a try.

Good service, we got take out but the guy was very friendly even though it was closing time. Bit expensive, but pretty good food, decent portion of fish and chips. I would go again, probably not eat in though, not the best decor.

The service is prompt in the very basic dining room. The fish was perfectly battered and fried and the accompanying tartar sauce tasty. The chips were soggy and not fresh tasting. Prices are very reasonable. Next time we will skip the chips.
