My partner and I took this lunch cruise as the end of our stay in Kingston. The weather was poor but in our opinion it only made the experience better. The Mist and fog of the water was absolutely beautiful to watch during the cruise. Lunch was excellent and the service spectacular. The entertainer was great fun and really worked to make the show as interactive as possible. definitely worth the money spent and we look forward to our next cruise...hopefully the dinner cruise.

As far as the cruise went, it was fine. I think it would be more accurate if they labeled it something like "St Lawrence River cruise to the Thousand Islands", because it is true that by the time you reach the 1000 Islands, you just tour around them for about 30 minutes and then head back. So if you want to see the 1000 Islands, you're better off taking a cruise that starts at Gananoque. The positives are the beautiful view of Kingston waterfront, the Military College & Fort Henry. It's a better way to view the battlements than from the land. In good weather, as we had, it's stunning. They have a very interesting commentary of the history etc of the area & we would have really enjoyed that but too many ppl talking too loud drowned it out much of the time. The band was pretty good; although my husband would have preferred no music, the selection they played was river boat themes & their version of Beyond the Sea was excellent. We had some good wildlife sitings on the trip - we saw an osprey taking an eel to it's nest, a few loons, a heron, & the usual cormorants & gulls.

We booked the 3 hour tour and wend on board of the ship. It does not look in a very good shape and certainly needs some redoing. Whilst waiting for the departure we saw the van of the catering company arriving and delivering the 'food' for the passengers. Unfortunately the salad fell on the floor, but it got picked up and was loaded on board as well. Then we set off. It takes more than a boring hour to get to the small islands which are really very cute and worthwhile watching. After a couple of turns around those islands the boat takes the next hour to get back to Kingston. Be careful no food or drinks may be brought on board. So one of those typical tourist traps.

Had a wonderful time at their grand opening - launching of the red trollies. The staff was very friendly and informative. The River Rats were very entertaining and made the one hour cruise very lively and fun. The appetizers were absolutely delicious and you could tell made from scratch. I will book several times on different cruises with family, friends and clientes. I would recommend the cruises for entertainment and a night out.

We decided to stay in Kingston to see the beautiful 1000 islands by cruising with this company. We travelled from Australia & decided to go on a 1.5 hour cruise. The boat was old which is ok but the little bugs all round the boat made it hard to breath of fear of breathing them in. The tables had not been cleaned and the pre recorded commentary was about 3 mins too late of where we were at the time. There were only about 4 islands in the whole 1.5 hours that we saw. Gananoque is the better option by far. Felt a little ripped off.....
