“Don't miss this free tour!”
Reviewed March 17, 2013

We lived in Kingston for 5 years and never toured City Hall. It's a free tour that takes you back in history with an excellent guide. Don't miss it the next time you're in Kingston - very well worth it!

“Historic and beautiful”
Reviewed January 10, 2013

Built when Kingston hoped to be designated Canada's capital, city hall is an imposing example of early 19th c. architecture in the country. Free tours. Conveniently located on the waterfront, right next to the Market and within a block or two of many good restaurants and hotels, other tourist sights in Kingston. "John A." steam locomotive, recently restored, is across the strret, at the old railway station (now the tourist information centre.)

“Skated At The Outdoor Ice Rink”
Reviewed December 13, 2012

My girlfriend and I took advantage of the outdoor skating rink setup in front of city hall and went for a nice afternoon skate while we were visiting. The ice was smooth and well maintained there is a zamboni on site too.

“Historic building with Amazing architecture”
Reviewed November 27, 2012

The city hall should be on your 'must see list' if you are visiting Kingston. Just collect a brochure from the friendly front office staff and wander around in the historical building. The meeting halls, council chamber and the high ceilings are all beautifully presented with amazing architecture. A well maintained building.
