Our sons and their families when cross country skiing at Christmas time. The Granddaughters loved the trails and the chickadees. Great place to take the family for a rewarding outdoor experience. They have many events to go to. You can even plan to have your wedding and reception there. How great is that? Phenomenal place to go.

Little Cataraqui Creek is located just North of the 401 on Division Street/Highway 10. A great system of trails allow you to be in nature just a few minutes outside the city and in the winter the trails are used for Cross country skiing and snowshoeing and they also have a sugar shack that processes maple syrup and you can take the family and watch them make it and sample the product.
There is not a bad time of year to visit this little gem

If you want to escape this city, this is a wonderful place to visit. I enjoy hiking along the trails and looking at the wildlife and nature. The place is usually not crowded so that is an added bonus. I will continue to visit this hidden gem.

Seasonal activities year-round--maple syrup making, X-country skiing, skating, hiking, bird watching. I used to train my retrievers in the ponds. Bright, spacious rustic, interpretive center, knowledgeable staff. In the winter, chickadees will eat from your hand.. Great for families.

Wagon ride into the sugar bush to see maple syrup being made and then tasting it on fresh made pancakes. Wonderful family trip. Kids love it!!
