“Great for families”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 22, 2013

When I saw where the hotel was located, just off highway 401, I was disappointed but it quickly faded when we went inside. It's located at the end of a outlet strip mall across from Boston Pizza and Swiss Chalet and a mega movie-plex. It's a 15 to 20 minute drive to downtown.
However, it's a brand new hotel beautifully decorated in contemporary furniture and a colour scheme of red, tan, brown and blue throughout.
There's a tiny kidney-shaped pool popular with families because of the two story water slide. You cannot swim laps in here. The gym next door is very decent as the laundry room is adjacent to that.
Our room was immaculate. The bedding is clean and the same colour scheme as the lobby. Amenities included an empty fridge and microwave.
The window overlooked an industrial park and the coffee maker was an old fashioned drip kind with undrinkable coffee. Those were the only two complaints.
We didn't use the business centre or the restaurant in the lobby but it's an open concept so you see everyone and everything.
Off the games room/lounge, there's an actual courtyard with a nice 6 foot plus privacy wall and comfortable patio furniture. We sat out there before breakfast and enjoyed it.
The room, two queens, was $165 including tax . I noticed flyers for many promotions including a $50 visa card for the outlet shopping package and a $25 gas card. We were not offered any specials upon booking so I'd ask. They do offer a CAA discount..
We'd stay here again.

Room Tip: Try to stay off the ground floor because it's noisy.

I needed a hotel to accommodate a business seminar and they proved to be a good choice. The conference room was small enough to be intimate and the food we ordered was very good. The price was also excellent. All our rooms were beautifully appointed and the lobby bar was very comfortable. They did offer coffee in the morning but we passed on breakfast.
The staff was very helpful and courteous. Location was great for quick access to the 401.I enjoyed my stay and they made it very easy to book my small meeting.

Stayed for one night with family. Wife loved the Starbucks in lobby. New hotel. VERY clean throughout. Great staff - very happy. Even the cleaning staff was friendly. Water slide and pool were great also. Modern rooms and bathrooms. Can't say a bad thing. Amazing stay.

New hotel - everything in great shape. Bathroom is larger and nicer than most. Beds were comfortable, room was very clean, furniture was very comfortable and in great condition. Only issue was the TV - reception was fairly poor - most channels were staticy, and the screen was stretched out. Both problems you could not fix as the controls were locked.

We stayed here for one night to break up a long drive to Toronto. The location is excellent! Easy on/off the highway with plenty of food choices close by. There is a Boston Pizza about 50 steps from the door.
There is plenty of parking and you can walk around the Outlets for a change of pace. The Front Desk staff was very helpful and the room was clean and comfortable.
They do have a small bar/bistro that offers drinks and a few menu items if you don't want to leave the hotel.
A great place to stay for an overnight or a weekend away.

Good out of town location to get back on the road quickly - free parking! situated right by a set of Outlet clothes shops and all the usual fast food outlets. However need a car to go into town if you want to find real food. Girl on front desk was very helpful in suggesting a day trip to Gananoque for us. Room and bed very comfortable, although air con was loud and blew curtains around. No kettle but good fridge and microwave so you can heat water for tea. Supermarket ( No Frills) nearby so easy to make a few cheap meals using the pull out table! Easy free wi fi.

Room Tip: Our room was over looking the car park but on a high floor so not noisy.

Thank you, Courtyard, Kingston for providing myself and my family a great experience last long weekend! It's one of the best places we have been to. The front desk, Sara, she works for the afternoon shift on 04August 2013, informed me to take a 10-minute drive to go to the lake, she gave me a vicinity map which was so easy to track. We drove 10 minutes and we jumped in to Wolfe island. It was a fantastic experience we will never, ever forget! Thank you, more power, Courtyard, Kingston, keep up the good job! Oh, thanks to Rachelle, too in the housekeeping, she had a bright smile - very accommodating and wonderful conversation with her.

Room Tip: Visit the islands after shopping!
