Have eaten here a few times now and we like it here for some reason. Service is fast and friendly and the food is good. They serve a few dishes here at lunch that you can only usually get at dinner at other places. The only thing we don't really like is the tables are narrow so if you have more than 4 people you are sat at one of the booths and the table seems so far away from you. minor issue but still kind of weird. We really enjoy everything we order here and have found it to be as good if not better than others in the area.

We went for lunch hoping for a really good ayce experience on Hamilton Mountain. Having been to most of the ayce restaurants (even a few that have now closed), we thought we had a pretty good basis for comparison.
Well, it was easy to see how new the staff were and how much training was still needed. They also obviously needed to be busier with the huge number of staff, but clearly these were glitches best solved by time and experience.
They advertised their food as being high quality and fresh. We did not find either of these to be the case. Yes, the sushi was freshly made, but one expects this as a matter of course. We sampled spring rolls, chicken wings, enoiki beef rolls, deep fried won tons, chicken fried rice and salmon teriyaki as well as the sushi. Unfortunately, there was nothing outstanding. None of these plates showed any care in preparation, and we asked for the wings to be extra crispy which did not happen. We generally felt that we had much more positive experiences elsewhere.
However, one of the things that we enjoyed is that after writing out your order, they gave you back an itemized 'receipt' for what you ordered - this was a brilliant idea, and helped you to track your plates. Every ayce should adopt this program. We ordered a second round of gyozas, broccoli tempura, sesame chicken, asparagus roll and won ton soup. We felt the same way, all plates were 'fine' but nothing special.
Our waiter asked us at the end of our meal whether we would be returning. We will not.
