After waiting in line for about 15 minutes we were seated at the counter of the small yet cool resto on trendy Locke Street in Hamilton. A small but decent selection of draught beers and an esoteric selection of quality bottle beers go well along side the homemade burgers (various types of meat) and poutines to rival the downtown Toronto joints. My lamb burger actually tasted like lamb - unusual in a setting like this and the upgrade to the Québécois poutine was well worth the extra charge (fresh, crunchy cheese curd and tasty not too thick gravy on crispy fresh cut fries). The chicken burger and the turkey burger with Brie & pears were also highly praised by my ravenous family. It would be difficult to go with more than a party of four, but do make an effort to go - and be prepared to wait if you're going in prime time.
