My family, teens and younger kids LOVED our visit to this place. What a great deal for a days worth of visiting.. spent a grand amount of time in the water park too!! Loved it. Love the funnel cakes and the boat ride! Great deal for the money--- don't go anywhere else if you have to decide between this place and another!

Col. Daley's triumph of vision! Nobody thought it possible to have exotics in our climate, but he's proven it can be done and the animals don't suffer. No other place quite like this place anyplace. Go!

This is definitely one of the best places within 100 km from Toronto to visit with kids. It is entertaining and educational and there are many amazing activities for children as well as for adults. What I liked most was a show with wild birds. It was breathtaking and I will definitely see it again this year.

It is a real safari and you can drive your own car there. But be aware that some animals are attracted by cars and can damage them. For instance, baboons like big cars like SUVs with roof racks since they can sit on the roof and hold the racks. They can scratch cars, damage mirrors and wipers etc. So we preferred to take a bus instead.

We had a great day at African Lion Safari. My daughter (4) loved all the animals and the play ground. It was too cold to play in the water splash area but it looked liked it would be great fun. We rode the bus to view the grounds and that was money well spent. Great views and no monkeys on our vehicle. The peacocks were especially nice with their flashy tails. We took in a bird show and watched the elephants swim. Great day for the whole family.

The baboons were active as usual and we felt the pain of the poor person who drove their old car through, the baboons had taken all the trim off the car.... however, more interesting was driving into the lion area. One lion jumped onto the back tire of our truck. The keepers had to drive over and shoo him off. it was an amazing experience and just shows you why you have to keep your windows up. Really wonderful experience for young and old.
