We took the grandkids here for the day. So much to see and do. Went on a bus tour through the park, took a train and boat tour. Walked to the wattering hole to watch the Elephants have their baths. Saw the birds of prey and elephant shows.. toped the day off with an elephant ride and avisit to the splash pad.

“Fun time had by all”

2 year old granddaughter loved the petting zoo and the splash pad area, great place for the kids!
Much better than I remembered it being back in the early 80's which would have been the last time I was there before now

“Good family outing - better (not larger) than the Toronto zoo”

Lots to see but don't drive your car in the monkey cage! everyone should visit at least once. A different way to see animals in a more natural setting

“Good fun for the kids and adults alike”
Reviewed January 3, 2013

While I am not in favour of zoos, the African Lion Safari does a relatively good job at letting the animals roam "free" and providing visitors with an up close look at these amazing wild creatures. The monkeys can damage your car so if your concerned, take their bus.

My advise to anyone attending in the summer months, make sure you have good airconditioning and keep you windows closed. There are many people who just don't seem to understand that these animals are indeed wild and caution should be exercised.

The small waterpark area is good for young children. The elephant bathing show should not be missed!
