“We love ALS!!”
Reviewed December 18, 2012

I have 3 kids and there is something for all of them at ALS. We go there at least 4 times per summer!! It's a true novelty for those who have never been and with the addition of the water play park it's a hit with kids young and old. Plus you get to ride an elephant! And your entrance fees cover a fair bit. I also find the concession stands much more reasonable than other zoos.

“Amazing that this venue is still operating! A great experience to see animals in this environment.”
Reviewed December 11, 2012

I think it is great that you can drive your car and see these animals roaming without "cages". Monkeys are awesome

“Interesting”

Good for when you have grandchildren who need some fresh air and a different type of scenery. I find that the children become so involved in the animals that they are kept busy

“Spring Summer and Fall”
Reviewed December 11, 2012

Summer is a little to hot and the animals are feeling it too. Loved going in the spring (all the new babies) and the fall, loved the temps, animals were active.
Food is pretty standard fast food so picknik lunches are highly recommended. You park in the park so access to your vehicle is really easy.
