“WOULD NEVER BRING MY FAMILY HERE”
Reviewed July 23, 2012

This place is disgusting. They are not up to health code since they allow people into the pool fully dressed. When you ask the lifeguards about this they say they are too busy watching the pool...then 5 minutes later you see them chatting with each other paying no attention to the pool whatsoever. The lifeguards keep their cell phones in their fanny packs and use the tops of the slides and the river as an opportunity to text and surf the web.

The lifeguards are incompetent and many cannot handle simple first aid issues as is apparent if you ever witness an accident...many of them are looking around scared because they have no idea what to do. All they are interested in is a quick buck and a chance to tan. Many of them show up hungover or still drunk from the night before.

The little kiddie pool always has at least one tile missing and is very outdated - hasn't been updated since the park opened 30 years ago. Parents and children alike slip on the ramp all the time as it is not a non-slip surface. When you tell the supervisor this, they will tell you they will put down a rubber mat but they never actually do. It is also all sharp corners in there just waiting to cut a little tot's head open.

There are only 6 slides and they are too tame even for a 6 year old. The cost for what you get is outrageous...it may seem like a cheap day-cation but it is not worth it.

The waves are so small...everyone is always disappointed when the waves come on and they realize how small they are.

To make a long story short DO NOT GO HERE. It is unsafe, dirty, and they have no idea what good customer service is.

“Great sized park for kids.”
Reviewed July 18, 2012

Not too big a park to let your older kids go off on their own. Little ones have their own separate water area. There is a gate fee to enter Confederation park which this waterpark is located inside. Then there is the additional fee for the waterpark. Line up can get long for the hot dog/snack bar. Good supervision with lifeguards and clean park. Seagull nets keep the birds away! Get there early for shade. Cheaper rates after 3pm.

“Wet fun in 40 degree sun”
Reviewed July 16, 2012

The lazy river and the slide ride. We couldn't stay long because it was one of those "dangerous" heat days. More shade was needed.
