If you've been going to bakeries and restaurants marketed as "artisan", this restaurant will refresh your brain as to the meaning of the word artisan. Very competent French country cooking in a nice relaxing setting. We went on a warm summer evening so sat out back in the patio with a lovely giant walnut tree overhead. The inside looks just as welcoming. Menu was well chosen to suit most tastes yet was interesting for those looking to savor their food and featured fresh produce which one doesn't find often enough elsewhere. It's not a place to go when you are in a hurry (it looks like Baker Street or Woolwich Arrow nearby are the places to go particularly for the afterwork crowd). Food is cooked from scratch here which the waitress made sure to mention that it would be 30 minutes for the main courses to arrive. We hadn't ordered starters but with the fantastic bread, amuse-bouche and conversation the time did not lag. They appear to be a young crew running the restaurant but they do appear serious about providing a nice dining experience so I think they will only get more polished in time and they were particularly good about accomodating for seeing and mobility issues.
