Description: The Dunalley Waterfront Cafe offers something for everyone. Morning or afternoon tea, breakfast, lunch, cheese board and wine... Pretty much everything is local and prepared from scratch on the premises. The kids are well looked after, the view makes you say "wow" and the cafe acts as a gallery and cellar door for Bream Creek Vineyard as well. Oh yeah...great coffee too

At the Waterfront Cafe and Gallery, Dunalley, the view was stupendous, the coffee was good and the big breakfast was magnificent! The owner also gave us directions to some of her favourite spots on the Tasman Peninsula.
It's good to hear that this cafe survived the terrible bushfire. So when you are in Tasmania, please eat here and help to support Dunalley's regeneration.
Just down the road is the Tasman Monument, describing how Abel Tasman discovered Tasmania and managed not to find Australia.

Very good quick visit for a coffee, we were made very welcome. Service and product were very good, shame their business has been affected by the forest fires.

I enjoyed a tasty beetroot, goats cheese and walnut salad entre as a light lunch. Ample seating for dining inside or out on the the deck. The cafe looks out acros a slipyard and jetty to moored vessels. beyond lies Boomer Bay and the Forrestier Peninsula. The cafe quickly filled with diners. I recommend the cafe as a great eatery. Have been here number of times over the years and am always satisfied with the experience. Stop here on your way to the Tasman Peninsula. Even the great coffee makes it well worth a stop.

We have always enjoyed the food and the atmosphere at this delightful cafe. Amazingly, it survived unscathed during the disastrous bush fire that devastated much of the town earlier in January 2013. The cafe enjoys an outstanding view of the bay and the adjacent boatyard. It has a spacious deck for outside dining, and plenty of excellent tables inside. It is great for coffee and cake, and has a wonderful lunch menu. The fish pie is to die for! A good range of the lovely wines from nearby Bream Creek Vineyard, as well as other local and interstate labels complements the excellent food. The service is always friendly and attentive, and live music is often provided at weekends. Lately, they have opened for dinner on Friday and Saturday.

We visited this delightful cafe again after not having been there for a couple of years and were pleased to find that, if anything , it had got even better.
The staff made us feel very welcome and almost at home. Clearly the wait staff enjoy their job and it shows.
The scones were fresh, light and probably the best I have had in years. The coffee was excellent too.
I recommend a visit.
