Came across on the way to Port Arthur, 2 miles south of Dunalley,in order to cut down on the travel time next morning (25 mins from PA). Although we were late the owner gave us the key and a chance to look around. There are 6 cabins located around a green, opposite a gate onto a lovely white sandy beach a few minutes walk away. There is also an open shed with kitchen, which can be used for BBQs. The cabin is a good size with bathroom/toilet, children's room with bunk beds and main room with double bed, sofa+table, fridge, cupboard with crockery etc and TV. You are given bread and fresh milk when you arrive to supplement the jams / coffee+tea in the room for a modest continental breakfast. You park by your cabin and its a quiet location.
Overall a roomy comfortable stay at a very reasonable price $120 for a family of 4, well located for a trip to Port Arthur. The owner is a Kiwi who appreciated the Poms play in the recent Ashes test series.
