We often go to the Montana's in Kitchener and we love it and have never had issues there, so when we visited the Montana's in Cambridge, we expected the same level of food quality. We ordered a kids meal for my son and, as usual, we ordered apple slices as his side dish. Normally at the Kitchener location, we get a small soup bowl full of apple slices (at least 10 of them), so I was appalled when the Cambridge location gave us THREE apple slices in a tiny dish (the same size dish you get to put soy sauce in at a Japanese restaurant)...I immediately made a comment to the waitress (who seemed oblivious to the fact that this portion was unacceptable) and she brought us some more apple slices. I had ordered a southern fried chicken sandwich and it came out BURNED, I actually had to tear off pieces of the chicken because they were inedible. Whoever was working in the kitchen that day was either sleeping or just didn't care because the food quality was a joke...and of course the waitress didn't bother checking the food before she brought it out to us either. The atmosphere was noticeably different than other Montana's locations....normally, the paper that they put over the tablecloths (the ones you colour on), fill up the whole table and even hang off the sides of it, but at Cambridge, all of the tables were only 60% covered by the paper....whoever is running this location is clearly cheap and is trying to cut corners wherever they can (and hoping nobody notices). I was extremely disappointed with my experience here and will not be returning...I'm going to stick to the Kitchener location where they know what they're doing and actually care about the customers.
