My wife and I really liked this place. There are very few lakes in the area so eating by the water is rarely an option, and it's very welcome. They have a large menu of pub food, comfort food and some with a local mennonite flair. The interior is nice with lots of windows over the water and lots of pine. I had the Rueben and my wife had the Quesadilla, both were good. We would definitely return. Not really a romantic place with all the kids running around, but a nice change from the city.

We LOVE the Old Marina Restaurant. If you've never been - Go, right now! It's family owned and you get a sense of being family from the 2nd you walk in! The patio is open year-round but is to die for in the summer. You sit over Puslinch lake while you eat and it's like you're in the South of France! The menu is huge and everything is delicous. Never had a bad meal there EVER! Kids are welcome and treated fabulous with a basket of toys to every table that kids are sat at. We also enjoy the train that goes around the top of the restaurant while you eat. Servers are super friendly! Fabulous spot!

One of the best things about this restaurant is the lovely view of Puslinch lake. Outdoor seating is available in warmer months. The atmosphere is warm and interesting; staff are generally friendly and efficient. The menu needs an update. It is based on copious quantities of hamburger and cheese. If you love those two ingredients, you will enjoy your meal. If not, eat elsewhere!

We enjoyed our lunch though it might have been just a tad expensive - one draft beer $8.00. Fish and chips being one piece of haddock and home made fries - with the skin on (which I like). The fish batter was a bit too over done and hard though still nice. Cabbage salad was also good.
Overs looks a tiny lake and has outdoor seating in the summer time. Pleasant & prompt wait staff. Not sure we will be back though.
