Meals are a pleasantly satisfying mingling of artistic display and hearty substance. The Dining Room at Langdon Hall has been awarded the coveted Five Diamond Award from AAA/CAA. Only a handful of restaurants from around the world earn this prestigious distinction. Come and taste the magic that acclaimed Chef Jason Bangerter is creating. With an exceptional wine cellar, Sommelier Kathleen Moore can recommend a wine pairing to go along with the wonderful seasonal menu. The dining room is a proud member of Ocean Wise, using sustainable seafood products and FeastON incorporating Ontario products and produce into the menu.

So, let's talk about all the good things first.
1. Reservation process was so smooth and they were very accommodating, even though I had to change our reservation twice.
2. The restaurant is absolutely wonderful. We had the tasting menu and it was to die for. I'd say one of the best meals I've had in a long time. I would come back for special occasions for sure!
3. We loved having a fire place in our room.
Coming from a modern home in Toronto, a fire place is such a treat.
Now a few things that can be improved on:
Because the hotel is one of the few places on the relais & chateaux list in Canada, maybe we just put our expectations a little too high. We have visited other hotels on the list in Europe, and I don't think this hotel is at par for a few reasons. The service is friendly, but not polished. Front desk reception seemed slightly disorganized, and maybe some staff require more training (except the one gentleman who works the day shift does know his stuff). The rooms are comfortable and spacious, but a bit dated and some area needed maintenance. Also we found the entrance to the second floor main house is quite odd. After walking up the lovely stairs, you are met with a big white dorm style door, which really kills the romantic antique look of the house. The spa treatment was also just okay. I know it's winter, so it's not the best time to judge the grounds, but the lawn really looked unkept.

Beautiful rooms and spa. Very quiet. Ordered food from the bar for dinner which was delicious. Extremely pricey but had a wonderful stay here.

What more can I say! This is one place you have to eat at. The service, the location, the presentation and meals here are superb.
We live very close by and whether it be a business lunch, date night or family occasion, this is the very best.

We go to this place every Christmas day for dinner with family and friends. While the entrance to this place is unremarkable the restaurant is very airy and inviting. The food, the wine selection and the service is great. We have never stayed at this place so cannot comment. There is valet parking for guests.
