Compared to what you pay to visit Toronto Zoo, admission to this must be FREE! This doesn't let me finish before i have typed 100 characters but there is not really anything more so say.

Thank Al I

We take our kids here all the time. It's inexpensive, fun, interactive. They have great kids' programming. The gift shop is nice to look at and the cafe serves fabulous food. Perfect for families on a budget looking for something to do (especially when the weather is bad!)

This butterfly museum is an excellent day outing that will also really excite younger children who will not lose interest in the many different and beautiful butterflies, many of which will actually land on them. From experience the best times are in the summer or on a clear sunny warm winter day. We have been back a few times without the kids.

nothing outstanding here - copy of all the other butterfly conservatories around the world... Amble free parking, located north of Cambridge on a county road though not hard to find

Lots of live butterflies (and song birds, lizards, etc.) in the main room. Very pretty flowers, etc. Separately had a display of hundreds of dried/preserved butterflies from around the world. We stayed almost two hours and kids didn't want to leave. Watch out for the gift shop -- kids won't let you leave without spending a fortune. It is full of bug and butterfly-related items, some very unusual but expensive.
