we had a great dinner here on Saturday May 17. Only thing was there is not one Ontario wine on their wine listing. I asked our server why not and he said they could not purchase at the right price point - blah, blah, blah. Guess we go back to the Keg for a $25.00 bottle of Jackson trigg's Chardonnay as we did last night.

This is a great place to take anyone who loves great Italian cuisine. I would recommend the Pizza on the first visit, from there you are on your own...One thing for sure, you will return.

Great staff and friendly people..thanks for the love you put into your business.

PS - If you need any nice photo's of the old country to hang on the wall, let me know.

We tried Nonna's for the first time in January and immediately loved it. We've been back 3 times since. The staff are fantastic. Food is excellent, particularly the waffle ice cream sandwich. Atmosphere is comfortable and we love the live music. Last time we were there they had a saxophone player who was AMAZING. We highly recommend this restaurant.

My husband and I recently and quite unexpectedly went out for dinner at Nonna's Cucina Ristorante. A friend of ours was providing the live music for the evening and we enjoyed his music whilst dining on delicious Italian cuisine. There was a large wine list to explore, a cozy dining area to relax in and share in a great meal. We started with bruscetta which was very garlicky but delicious. My husband had a seafood risotto dish whilst i had the prix fixe menu with the veal parmigiana. Both main dishes were huge and it was a struggle to finish them. Dessert was a tasty piece of carrot cake. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our evening and were happy to discover a new place to dine.

Sadly, I had to organize a group luncheon for approximately 25 due to a post-funeral reception. However, Paul and his staff were very accommodating, even though we arrived 1/2 hour early and five more than indicated. The food (margherita pizza, Caesar salad, garden salad, ciabatta bread, pasta Bolognese, tiramisu) was excellent. In addition to regular coffee and tea, espressos and cappuccinos were available. We had a private room with great service. The stars were probably the salads: early March, yet everything tasted fresh out of the garden, and the Caesar salad was dressed to perfection, not dripping in goopy dressing.

We had basic food but based on the quality of the food and the service, I would definitely come back for a meal from the menu.
