We went to Eatalia tonight. Due to snow storm, place was nearly empty. We enjoyed everything as usual.First time, I tried the Clam Chowder soup, it was very nice.

Eatalia hosted my daughter's New Year's Eve wedding reception last night - the food - prime rib and lobster tail (with vegetarian option) - was absolutely delicious, served piping hot and quickly to 80 people, the staff were super friendly and accommodating, the bartenders were also fun and outgoing and the choices of wine and drinks amazing, the DJ played a variety of music to please all ages, the atmosphere with the lighting and setup was magical - many of our guests said it was the best wedding reception ever and we thought so too. Thank you so much for making such an important evening so perfect and magical.!!

We went as a large group / family of about 26 people, so we ordered ahead from a fixed menu. The service was fine. The food was very tasty, from the appetizers, salad, pasta & mains, followed by fruit platters. The main dishes were salmon, steak, veal ... all good. The only thing missing from the main dishes was a decent amount of vegetables or potatoes. The "fingerling potatoes" that came with the salmon were 3 teeny pieces. The "seasonal vegetables" with all the mains consisted of 2 small pieces of broccoli & cauliflower. I realize we had some grilled vegetable & salad as part of our appetizers, but many of us would still have enjoyed a bit more vegetables with the main dish. The fresh fruit platter was very generous. Overall, it was an enjoyable evening. The restaurant has a nice ambiance & we would likely go again sometime.

I can't say enough about how great the food is at Eatalia restaurant. Perfect execution of the classics and outstanding innovation with new dishes. Highly recommend for parties, dates, family meals, business lunches. Have the meatballs and ricotta. You will want to order more. Extensive wine list with bottles not available at the LCBO but are an amazing surprise for your meal. Staff was attentive without being pushy and they definitely know their stuff. Will be back!
