I'm surprised this restaurant isn't busier. We went early on a Saturday night, around 5:30 and the place was mostly empty. We ordered the "trough", which we always get when we go here. No decision to make, something of everything. Excellent value.
Been here several times since it opened and have had take out as well. Called in the order and arrived about 10 minutes after it was supposed to be ready and still had to wait 10 minutes. Maybe just a bad night but we haven't ordered it for take out since.
Service for eat in has always been excellent. Not the kind of food we would have more than every few months, but we've never been disappointed.

This was one of the worst meals that we have ever had. Not only was the service bad but the food was horrible. You guy's need some serious help. The baked beans tasted like charcoal brisquets with bbq sauce on them. The cole slaw was nothing more than soggy cabbage soaked in milk. It had no flavor what so ever. My baked potato had been heated several times as it was like a rubber boot and it was so cold inside that the butter wouldn't even melt. Now I do have to admit my roasted bbq chicken was tasty. The server dropped our food off at the table and we never saw her again. We finished what we could eat and waited for 15-20 min. and still nobody came to our table so we got up and went to the front and they had to go and find her to get our bill. Not worth the $40 bucks we wasted.

We were looking forward to eating there as it was fairly new, but were very disappointed. The food was not the worst we have ever eaten, but the service was horrific. It took the server 20 minutes to take our order, and she only checked back once, and never even asked if we wanted coffee at the end of our meal.

Heard rave reviews from non-locals. Went on a Saturday night @ 8pm got seated right away at bar. Hard to distinguish if it was a sports bar/ roadhouse or tex mex. prices were great food was fairly good (ordered Mac and cheese & hot mama single ribs) food came out right away. The food experience was worth it and will try again. What ruined the experience was the service, cleanliness, and management on duty. I will keep the review to the food. I would do it again but get take out so we do not have to deal with the 'sausage fest'

In town on a business trip, I had a nightcap with my bud in this smokehouse. Over stein, we indulged ourselves on a huge serving of nachos topped with smoked brisket. The small chunks of meat and fat give this oven toasted nachos an awesome difference amongsts other nacho appetizers. Surprising too the place doesn't smell of a smokehouse covered with smoke - it's clear , clean and a place to have some good beer and BBQ with friends.
