We went snowshoeing in the area and my wife researched places to eat when we finished and chose to go to this restaurant. We came for a late lunch, around 3:00 pm or so.
The restaurant wasn't too busy and we opted to sit in the dining room. The decor is nice and has a lot of Canadian references. The menu is pretty straight forward, but had more selection that a comparable place.
It took a bit long to get acknowledged by our server. He did apologize for the wait as soon as he came over, which definitely makes a huge difference. We didn't order too much as it was late and we had plans for dinner. It was very simple, onion rings and wings.
Our food came out quite fast, even before other tables that ordered before us. I'm sure the order itself was simple and easy which helped. The food was good. Portion size, especially for onion rings was on the small side. Service continued to be good and server was attentive.
We did feel that the amount we paid for our order and 2 non-alcoholic drinks was on the expensive side. We are glad that we went to try and would consider going back if we were in the area again.
