We choose this B&B because we though it was a beautiful little house at first glance and our feeling was right. We felt like home the moment we entered the door, the room was nice and charming and breakfast excellent (really good homemade jam).
Jamie and Debby (the owners) are outgoing people who like meeting travellers and they seem to really enjoy their "job" as innkeepers.
Hospitality 100%.

A very affordable stay at Willow House Inn in Pictou, N.S. The breakfast was lovely...home-cooked cranberry scone, egg stuffed croissant, fresh fruit, cereal, coffee. Comfortable king bed in a huge room with ensuite bathroom.

This is a lovely old rambling house with big, comfortable rooms and very welcoming hosts. The breakfast was lovingly prepared and served at communal tables in the ground floor dining room, so be ready to chat to fellow guests and swap stories before your coffee has hit home! Our only criticisms were the bedroom as a wee bit shabby and dusty, though the bed linens and towels were clean, and the private bathroom was a few years out of date. But everything worked, we had a great night's sleep and we were well set for our next day's drive north. We'd go back.

Room Tip: The floor boards creaked a bit - it's a house, not a hotel - but our upstairs room was quiet eno...

My family and I stayed with Jamie and Debby this past weekend while we attended a tournament with our son. We, along with other families stayed for two nights. Jamie and Debby welcomed us and made us feel very welcome. It felt like their house was our house. We enjoyed wonderful breakfasts (especially the Belgian waffles!!) and enjoyed relaxing evenings in their living room. We even invited friends. It felt like we had known them for years. I think what meant the most to me was that Debby and Jamie were very tolerant of the children - all boys from 11 to almost 13 years old. They were free to roam the house and you never felt like you had to tip toe around. I would definitely stay there again if I ever have reason to overnight in Pictou again. It is a lovely town and I look forward to the opportunity to spend some time there in the future. Would recommend Willow House to anyone!!

My friend and I spent 2 nights in Pictou at the Willow House Inn and could not fault it in any way. The hosts were very friendly and even invited us to join them in their sitting room when we came in from having dinner. The breakfasts were delicious and plentiful with homemade muffins and jams.Everywhere was spotlessly clean and the beds were extremely comfortable. Jamie was able to recommend a great restaurant for us to eat on the evening of Thanksgiving when most of the eateries were closed. I would definitely return here

Room was small and difficult to watch the TV because it was on a very low table. Breakfast was excellent. The owners were very helpful. Good value for the price. Loaction is very near the water front and downtown area.

My husband and I spent one night at the Willow House Inn on our way to Prince Edward Island. The comments I had read from others on TripAdvisor about this lodging were very accurate. The hosts were helpful, friendly, and delightful to meet! The breakfast was delicious and beautifully presented. We got a good night's sleep and a full-tummy send off as we headed to the ferry! :)
