I don't know if you can even get an official tour of the Halifax City Hall, but we visited on the inaugural Doors Open in Halifax this year. There wasn't a lot to see, but it was interesting. We got to see the council chamber (surprisingly small) the mayor's office, and the two maces of Halifax Regional Municipality (they alternate between the old City of Halfiax and City of Darmouth maces).
If you are on a Doors Open tour, or just touring around downtown, drop by this historic building. It won;t take long and will be interesting.
