I was expecting Jane's 2.0, and was disappointed. First, it doesn't have the best hours. We hiked all the way there on a Saturday only to discover they aren't open for brunch on Saturday. Nor are they open for lunch through the week. Or on Mondays. And they don't take reservations. We eventually ended up going on a Tuesday night, and it was surprisingly busy but we did not have to wait too long for service or our food. The service was attentive and fast. I was happy to learn they serve Jane's iced tea, but the food itself was underwhelming. I started with the pork belly which was dry but had an interesting kale salad. The gnocci was slightly overcooked, and the first few bites were great. But as time went on the mustard flavour became overpowering and for a mushroom/tomato gnocci it had few of either. The portion sizes were generous. My friend had the fish which she said was cooked perfectly and with an interesting sauce. Not sure I would come again.
